Jewel Box Homes Strengthens Business Through Peer Advisory Group Membership
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) February 5, 2010 -- Robert Latham, founder of Jewel Box Homes, is constantly learning from his peers how to build better homes, improve business practices, and increase customer satisfaction. As a member of the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 20 Club program, Robert meets regularly with other builders for an open exchange of information and advice. Mr. Latham is a member of the Cornerstones, that most recently met in Seattle during October.
NAHB’s 20 Club program is a unique networking and education opportunity available exclusively to NAHB members. Groups of 20 custom home builders from similar, non-competing builders meet regularly to discuss proven techniques and the latest trends in design, construction, and management. The knowledge they gain from each other enables 20 Club members to improve their business operations, increase the quality of the homes they build, and raise their standards of customer service.
Asked about the program, Mr. Latham said “I am excited about the positive effects this program will have not only for Jewel Box Homes, but more importantly for our clients. 20 Club members benefit from participation at the semi-annual meetings and pass this expertise on to our customers through improvements in the homes we build. But the biggest benefit, in my opinion, is that we stay in touch almost daily through e-mail, and anytime I have a question of any type, I have at my immediate disposal the decades of experience from some of the best builders in the country. This spring we’ll meet in Chicago and while there we’ll get to tour some of Frank Lloyd Wrights’ most important projects.” Jewel Box Homes builds luxury custom homes in Houston’s finest neighborhoods.
